Royal Vopak has over 400 years of storage experience. The current company is a leading Dutch liquid bulk storage multinational that handles various products related to petroleum, chemicals, fuel oils and natural gas. It holds the largest network of terminals in the sector, with over 35 million m3 of capacity across the globe. Today’s company is the result of the merger of Van Ommeren and Pakhoed in 1999. Its main offices are located in Rotterdam.

Vopak Terquimsa is a Joint Venture that was created in 1970, and is owned by two of the main logistics companies in Spain and in internation terms: CLH (Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos) with 50% and Royal Vopak holding the other 50%.

Exolum is an international leader in terms of the transport and storage of petroleum products within Europe, it is also a front runner in this same sector in global terms. CLH manages the most-extensive refined products network in Europe. The company is ranked second in terms of storage capacity volume in Europe and seventh at a worldwide level. CHL has also recently opened up its capacity with respect to diversifying into new chemicals, in a move that strengthens its strategy to aim beyond hydrocarbons in order to address the challenges of climate change.
It employs over 1,700 people in a logistics system that comprises over 6,000 kilometres of oil pipelines, with a hundred or more facilities, among which are storage terminals and airport facilities, with some 9 million cubic metres of capacity across six countries.
