Vopak Terquimsa has collaborated in the adaptation of the recreational area of ​​the Fundació Casa Sant Josep, an entity attached to the Xarxa Sanitària i Social de Santa Tecla, dedicated to the care of children, and also of young people and adolescents in situations of vulnerability or social risk. The logistics company has contributed to the construction of pergolas in the outer courtyard of the center, the installation of an urban garden and different materials for recreational use.

Once the works were completed, a delegation from Vopak Terquimsa visited the facilities on Estanislau Figueras avenue in Tarragona. During the visit, those responsible were able to see first-hand the work and the work that takes place at Casa Sant Josep. They have also been interested in the different spaces of the Residential Center for Educational Action (CRAE) of Casa Sant Josep, one of the most innovative and functional that currently exist in Catalonia.

Eduardo Sañudo, CEO of Vopak Terquimsa has pointed out that «this collaboration is part of the commitment to promote social equity and improve the lives of people in our environment». Since the pandemic began, these outdoor areas have become more essential than ever for recreation and the need to schedule a multitude of outdoor activities, even more so now that summer begins».
